1.Melayu perlu belajar dari bawah.
Bangsa Melayu perlu belajar dari bawah sebelum masuk dunia perniagaan.BUkan sekadar ada wang dan membuka bisnes,namun perlu belajar dengan bekerja dalam bidang tertentu dan memahami selok belok dunia perniagaan .Contohnya jika mahu mmebuka retsoran,bekerja dan melihat situasi dunia perniagaan restoran dari pekerja mmebuat air,tukang masak,pelayan dan sebagainya.Pengalaman dan kemahiran akan membantu kita bila membuka perniagaan.
2.Modal efektif.
Melayu yang mahu berniaga perlu mempunyai modal efektif dan relevan.Contohnya jika mahu membuka bisnes bernilai RM100,000 perlu ada wang tunai RM300,000.RM100,000 untuk bisnes,bakinya untuk pengurusan dan modal menghadapi pelbagai masalah dalam perniagaan.Adalah salah hanya mempunyai RM100,000 jika mahu mmebuka bisnes bernilai RM100,000.
3.Berusaha bersungguh-sungguh.
Melayu perlu berusaha bersunguh-sungguh tanpa jemu.Usaha berterusan sama ada dalam promosi,pemasaran,produk dan sebagainya.Tanpa usaha keras,kejayaan tidak akan datang.
4.Bersabar dalam tempoh lama.
Melayu perlu belajar bersabar kerna bisnes perlukan masa panjang.Dr Mahathir berkata “Saya buka kedai roti dah 5 tahun tapi belum nampak untung…”.Perniagaan perlukan masa panjang untuk berjaya,bukan sekelip mata.
5.Mengenai jenis perniagaan.
Melayu perlu mengenali jenis perniagaan dengan baik.Jika buka restoran ,tahu apa jenis masakan,cara promosi,cara menambahkan pelanggan dan sebagainya.
6.Rajin meninjau bisnes.
Melayu perlu rajin keluar dari pejabat dan meninjau dunia perniagaan sama ada produk,pekerja dan segalanya.Sikap Melayu yang hanya terperap dalam pejabat akan menyebabkan kegagalan.
7.Manfaatkan teknologi.
Melayu perlu manfaatkan segala teknologi seperti peralatan mesin moden,internet dan sebagainya.Ini akan membantu melahirkan produk berkualiti dan berjaya dalam pasaran.
8.Sentiasa tambahkan aset.
Melayu perlu sentiasa tambahkan aset seperti pembelian tanah,rumah kedai,emas dan sebagainya kerna harganya akan meningkat.Beliau mengatakan tanah di KL dibeli oleh Pavilion dengan harga RM7000 satu kaki.
9.Belajar dengan bangsa lain.
Melayu perlu belajar dengan bangsa lain.Jika di Malaysia Cina berjaya dalam bisnes,Melayu perlu belajar dengan mereka.Belajar dengan manusia berjaya akan membantu kita berjaya seperti mereka.
10.Ikhlas dalam perniagaan.
Melayu perlu ikhlas menjalankan bisnes,bukan hanya mencari kekayaan namun memanfaatkan kekayaan untuk kebaikan.
11.Menolak mitos.
Ramai Melayu menganggap Cina berjaya kerna menipu sedangkan ia mitos.Hakikatnya Cina berjaya kerna usaha keras dan gigih.Mereka datang ke Tanah Melayu tiada apa-apa dan kini menguasai ekonomi negara.
Beliau menyindir “Kalau ada yang anggap Cina kaya sebab menipu,buatlah!”
12.Mengamalkan peribadi mulia.
Usahawan Melayu perlu mengamalkan sikap positif dalam kehidupan seperti rajin,amanah,tidak menipu dan sebagainya.Setiap amalan baik perlu diterapkan jika mahu berjaya.Manusia yang menipu dan tidak amanah ,kejayaan bersifat sementara dan tidak kekal.
13.Menjauhkan sifat keji.
Melayu perlu menjauhkan sifat keji seperti suka berbohong,mungkir janji,tidak amanah,menjual harga terlampau tinggi,hasad dengki,menjatuhkan bisnes org lain dan sebagainya.Sikap keji adalah punca kebanyakan usahawan Melayu gagal dalam bisnes.
14.Jangan terlalu bergantung dengan tender kerajaan.
Melayu tidak boleh bergantung dengan tender kerajaan kerna kuota terhad dan jumlah usahawan yang ramai.Melayu sepatutnya mempunyai produk yang boleh berjaya di pasaran sama ada dalam dan luar negara.
15.Mempunyai network.
Melayu perlu mempunyai network agar saling bantu membantu sesama bangsa.Amalan ini telah diterapkan bangsa Cina dan mereka berjaya…
16.Membayar hutang dengan baik.
Melayu perlu membayar hutang dengan baik dan menguruskan perniagaan dengan betul.Hutang wajib dibayar walaupun satu sen.Ramai Melayu mengabaikan hutang dan ini menyusahkan pihak yang memberi pinjaman.Mereka yang tidak membayar hutang bukan sahaja menyusahkan dirinya sendiri,namun menyusahkan pihak lain.

ANSON HOUSE (Anson Road, S079911) - Level 4, carpark.  A small prayer place located at the extreme end.  For ablution, walk down the metal staircase.

CHANGI AIRPORT TERMINAL 1 (Airport Boulevard, S819642) - Level 1 transit area, below gate holdroom C1 at Arrival Hall West.  The male and female section is separated by a curtain.  Ablution area is common for male and female.  It is a multi-religious prayer room.

– Level 6, carpark at corner.  Use carpark lift beside escalator behind Fuji Film shop. The room is air-conditioned and partitioned for men and women. Ablution place just outside the room.  (Musollah is designated for Clifford Centre tenants only).

*COMFORTDELGRO DRIVING CENTRE (Ubi Avenue 4, S408805) – Go to the “Motorcycle Training Reporting Counter” near the main entrance.  Enter the door unit number 01-06.  Inside is the room with segregated space for men and women.  For ablution, take the tap wrench hanged at the door.  Out from the room turn left and left again and there is a tap along the walkway where the cyclists hang their training number tag.  Slipper provided outside the room.

*DARUL ARQAM SINGAPORE (Onan Road, S424484) – Level 2.  With ablution place and segregated space for male and female.

DBS BUILDING (Shenton Way, S068809) (Behind CPF Building)  - Basement 1, carpark.  Turn right on entering carpark toward the end.  There are 2 rooms next to driver resting area.  For ablution, go one level down, there are 2 male toilet and for female use the left one and place a signboard for female.  Slippers and telekong available. 

*DOWNTOWN EAST (Pasir Ris Close, S519599) – Located at the Asli Village Halal Foodcourt which is near to Carpark B.  There are separate rooms for male and female just behind the Downtown BoonTat Barbeque Seafood. For ablution, go to the toilet nearby.

ENVIRONMENT BUILDING (Scotts Road, S228231, near Newton MRT) – Level 25.  Take visitor’s pass at visitor’s lobby (West Wing Lobby).  At level 25, take stairs to level 26 and enter door.

FOUR SEASONS HOTEL (Orchard Boulevard, S248646) – Basement 1, carpark.  Located on the left hand side of lift lobby for carpark.  The musollah door is facing the ablution area.  Toilets located behind the lift lobby.

*FURAMA CITY CENTRE (Eu Tong Sen Street, S059804) – Lobby level, just beside the toilet and Tiffany Cafe and Restaurant.  Request the staff from the reception area to unlock the room.  They provide telekong for muslimah and there is a convenient ablution place inside the room.

GERMAN CENTRE (International Business Park, S248646) – Basement carpark next to motorcycle parking lot (security restroom).  If room lock, look for security staff at information counter.  For ablution, go outside room.

*GHIM MOH ROAD (Ghim Moh Road, S270002) – Block 2,  void deck.  The last void deck surau (Surau Ghim Moh) in Singapore, founded by the late Ustaz Munawir Bin Mohd Dzafir who passed away on 7 January 1987. Fully equipped facilities with convenient ablution place.

GLENEAGLES HOSPITAL (Napier Road, S258500) - Level 1.  Enter main entrance and turn right towards the toilet.  Just before the toilet, there is a staircase along the corridor and enter it where the prayer place is located.

GOODWOOD PARK HOTEL (Scotts Road, S228221) - Level B1, carpentry/engineering workshop.  Walk to valet parking booth, there is a door leading to steps going down to B1.  For ablution, go upstairs near vehicle washing bay/rear entrance of Gordon Grill kitchen.

*GOLDEN SHOE CAR PARK AND MARKET STREET FOOD CENTRE (Market Street, S048940) - Nearest mosque is Masjid Moulana Mohammad Ali (Raffles Place), about 5 minutes walk.

*GRAND HYATT SINGAPORE (Scotts Road, S228211) - Level 1, carpark (same level as Straits Kitchen). Go to the left of Straits Kitchen and turn right. There is a convenient washroom for ablution. Room for prayer is located next to it. They provide telekong for muslimah. Please ask staff for assistance.

*GUTHRIE BUILDING (Changi Road, S419973, beside AIA Changi) - Level 4, MERCU Learning Point.  Exit lift and turn right. Enter office and ask counter staff for the prayer room.  For ablution, go to the toilet nearby.

*HARBOURFRONT CENTRE (Maritime Square, S099253) –Nearest mosque is Masjid Temenggong Daeng Ibrahim (Telok Blangah Road, S098827), about 10 minutes walk

HAW PAR TECHNOCENTRE (Commonwealth Drive, S149598) - Basement carpark.  There is a carpeted area for praying. For ablution go to the toilet at 1st floor.

*HONG LEONG BUILDING (Raffles Quay, S048581, next to Lau Pat Sat) – Level 5 & 7.  Take lift from main lobby and go towards car park.  Toilet at lift level.  Prayer place at corner and ablution place nearby.

*IKEA ALEXANDRA (Alexandra Road, S159965) – Basement carpark, underneath escalator near to carpark lot number 250.  Look for a white door room that stated “Male’s Prayer Room”.  With ablution place and segregated space for male and female.

*IKEA TAMPINES (Tampines North Drive 2, S528764) -   Level 4, near the toilet at extreme end of IKEA Restaurant & Cafe.  There are few signages to lead to the location.  Separate room for male and female with convenient ablution place inside the room.

* IMM BUILDING (Jurong East Street 21, S609601) – Level 4, lift lobby A.  Take lift beside Macdonalds Restaurant to level 4. Turn left twice and you will see a signboard at the top.  For ablution, take the key provided for the ablution room.  Return the key after use.

INFORMATICS CAMPUS (10 & 12 Science Centre Road, S609080) - Block A. Located between student service (A01-01) and IPDC service and sale (A01-02).  For ablution use toilets nearby.

*INTERNATIONAL PLAZA (Anson Road, S079903) - Level 7, car park.  Take carpark lift 19 and 20 near Watson store.  Small corner area turned into prayer place.  No telekong and toilet at level 6 & 8 for ablution.  Easier to use staircase.

JURONG POINT SHOPPING CENTRE (Jurong West Central 2, S648886) -  Basement 2 carpark. Take the travelator down near Popular Bookstore, turn left and left again. There is a small room below the sloped ceiling to pray and a water tap just outside (the knob for the tap should be hanging in the room, beside the door).  Ablution for female, go to the toilet nearby.

*KK WOMEN’S AND CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL (Bukit Timah Road, S229899) -   Basement 1, Women's Tower. At a staircase landing after entering a door just left of the Women’s 24-Hour Clinic.   Slippers, sejadah and telekong available. For ablution, go to the toilet nearby.

 

*LAGUN SARI@JOO CHIAT (Joo Chiat Road, S427621) -   Level 5.  Take the lift to level 4, turn left and enter stair A exit door.  Go up to level 5 and turn left and proceed straight to the extreme end where the musholla is located.  There are few signages to lead to the location.  For ablution, go to the toilet nearby.

*MARINA SQUARE (Raffles Boulevard, S039594) - Green Zone basement carpark.  Carpark entrance from Marina Mandarin.  Location at extreme end under the ramp near to car park lot number 69C, a small makeshift prayer room which is white in colour.  For ablution, go to the toilet nearby.

*MILLENIA TOWER (Temasek Avenue, S039192) - Basement 1 carpark.  Take lift from main lobby to B1 and turn right.  Enter exit door (To carpark B1) and turn right towards carpark.  Turn left and there is a small prayer place located at the extreme end.  Ablution place outside the room.

MINISTRY OF NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT BUILDING (Maxwell Road, S069110) – Nearest mosque is Al-Abrar Mosque (Telok Ayer Street, S068635 - Near Tanjong Pagar MRT), about 10 minutes walk.

MOUNT ALVERNIA HOSPITAL (Thomson Road, S574623) - Opposite the registration counter,  a small room called 'Quiet Room' specially reserved for Muslims to do their prayers.

MUHAMMADIYAH EDUCATION CENTRE (Lorong 13 Geylang, S388639) - Level 6.  Spacious room with ablution facility and toilet for male and female.

NANYANG POLYTECHNIC (Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8, S569830)  - Block A Level 1 staircase, in front of security guards’ room.  Block E Level 5 staircase.  There are 2 staircases and not the one in front of Student Development Office.  No lifts access to level 5, take staircase from level 4.  Block P Level 8 staircase.  There are 2 staircases and both have prayer place.  No lifts access to level 8, take staircase from level 7.

NEW TECH PARK ( Lorong Chuan, S556741) - Lobby F.  There are two rooms for male and female.

NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC (Clementi Rd, S599489) - Convention Centre basement. Take the lift to the basement. After exiting the lift, turn right and walk towards the staircase. The space below the staircase is used as  musholla while the little store room located nearby provides telekung, sejadah and some other essentials. The space can fit about 10 persons.

NOL BUILDING (Alexandra Road, S119962)  - Level 3, carpark.  Go through a door that stated “Music Lounge”.  Once out, turn left for prayer place and turn right for ablution place.

*OCBC CENTRE (Chulia Street, S049513) - Nearest mosque is Masjid Moulana Mohammad Ali (Raffles Place, S048624), about 5 minutes walk.

ORCHARD HOTEL (Arcade Shopping Centre) (Orchard Road, S238879) – Basement 3 carpark.  Take lift from Orchard Hotel to basement 2.  Turn right and follow the ramp toward basement 3.  Next to it, there is a prayer place.  Ablution place outside the room.

*OUB CENTRE (Raffles Place, S048616) - Nearest mosque is Masjid Moulana Mohammad Ali (Raffles Place, S048624), about 5 minutes walk.

PARKWAY EAST HOSPITAL(Joo Chiat Place, S427990) formerly East Shore Hospital – Level 2.  Located at end of corridor by the ICU ward.

*PENINSULA SHOPPING CENTRE  (Coleman Street, S179805) – Basement 1.  Enter from opposite Fire Station and go down escalator.  Proceed straight and turn right and turn right again and look for “Exit” door located near the toilets.  Prayer place at Staircase 1 and prayer mat at built-in cabinet on top of letter box.  Slippers provided and for ablution, go to the toilet nearby or washing basin/area beside toilet.

*PENINSULA PLAZA (North Bridge Road, S179098) – Nearest mosque is Masjid Dawoodi Bohra (Burhani) (Hill Street, S179364), about 5 minutes walk.  (Note:  It is a  “Syiah” follower mosque).

* PLAZA SINGAPURA (Orchard Rd, S238839) – Level 5.  Enter exit door to staircase landing near lift lobby beside Sea Horse.  Sejadah and slipper can be found inside the riser cabinet on the extreme left corner.  For ablution, go to the toilet nearby.

*QUEENSWAY SHOPPING CENTRE (Queensway, S149053) – Level 2.  Near the toilet and cargo lift number 3.  Enter the exit door (Staircase D).  Turn right and proceed to the end.  Ablution place inside.

*RAFFLES HOSPITAL (North Bridge Road, S188770) – Level 9, Room 7.  Sejadah and telekong available.

REGIONAL LANGUAGE CENTRE (RELC Building) (Orange Groove Road, S258352) – Level 11, in front of the lift.  Both the lifts in RELC are side by side.  The room stated “PRAYER ROOM”.  Ablution place and telekong available.

RENDEZVOUS HOTEL (Bras Basah Road, S189559) – Basement 1 carpark.  From outside, after seeing Turkish Kitchen, go in by the entrance.  Walk straight to the left for the lift to basement 1.  Walk straight ahead, will find a tap that is located opposite 2 doors.   Beside, there is a label indication prayer room.  For ablution, use the tap.

REPUBLIC POLYTECHNIC (Woodlands Avenue 9, S737903) – Block 3, level 4 room N (W34N) at one of the facilitation block. The room is air-conditioned and partitioned for men and women.  It is only open from 1.00 to 2.00 pm and 4.30 to -6.30pm (student break time).  Sejadah and telekong available.  For ablution, go to the toilet nearby.

*REVENUE HOUSE (IRAS) (Newton Road, S307987) – Nearest mosque is Masjid Abdul Hamid (Kampong Pasiran), 10 Gentle Road, S309194, about 10 minutes walk.

ROBINSON POINT BUILDING (Robinson Road, S068911) – Level 5, car park.  Separate rooms for male and female.  Ablution place and telekong available.

*ROYAL PLAZA ON SCOTTS (Scotts Road, S228220) – At ground level, proceed to the reception area and turn right and look for exit door that stated “To Surau and Carpark”.  Enter door and go up the staircase and will see a room on left side stated “Surau/Prayer Room”. Ablution place inside.

*SAKURA RESTAURANT, ADMIRALTY PARK (Riverside Road, S739087) – There is a small office space at a corner for prayer.  For direction, enquire from Muslim staff. For ablution, go to the toilet nearby.  Only sejadah provided.

* SAKURA RESTAURANT, CLEMENTI WOODS PARK (Clementi Road, S129781) - Nearest mosque is Masjid Tentera Diraja (Clementi Road, S129797), about 5 minutes walk.

*SAKURA RESTAURANT, DOWNTOWN EAST (Pasir Ris Close, S519599) - There is a small room marked “Surau” near to the restroom with a convenient ablution place inside.

SENTOSA ISLAND (S099981) – Located at the Ranger Station which is nearby Amara Sanctuary Resort and Tourism Academy.  It is just along the road towards the Beach Station.  Ask the Ranger on duty to direct the way to the praying room.

SENTOSA ISLAND, BEACH STATION (S099981) – Basement 1, Beach Station yellow zone carpark.  Take the escalator opposite the information counter to the basement carpark.  Turn right and  there is a separate room for male and female with a sign stated “Prayer Room”.  Ablution can be taken at the nearby  water point just to the right of the musollah.

*SHAW CENTRE (Scotts Road, S228208) – Level 12, staircase area.  Use passenger lift at main lift lobby to level 12.  Out from lift, proceed to carpark and turn left a bit to “Staircase B”.  For ablution, go to the toilet nearby at extreme corner of carpark.

SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT (SIM) (Clementi Road, S599490)  – Located below staircase 24, beside Lecture Room 1.10.  Slipper provided and for ablution go to the toilet nearby.

*SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT (SIM) (Namly Avenue, S267616) - Main building where the auditoriums are situated. There is a door next to the ladies toilet which will lead to a small space, used for prayer. Toilets beside the auditorium (the upper floor auditoriums). No sejadah or telekong.

SINGAPORE POWER BUILDING (Somerset Road, S238164) - Basement 1, car park.  Near car park exit beside cleaner’s store.  Ablution place near cleaner’s store and telekong available.  Water tap can only turned on by using a “water tap” key obtainable from inside prayer room, hanged on the wall.  Also open on weekend.

*SINGAPORE SCIENCE CENTRE (Science Centre Road, S609081) – Level 3. Near to the Science laboratory. Get the Muslim staff permission first to access to level 3 as it is for staff only.

* SINGAPORE SAFETY DRIVING CENTRE - SSDC (Woodlands Industrial Park E4,S757387) – Level 1.  Enter door (Stairs 2) on right side leading to TP counter. For ablution, go to the toilet nearby.

SOUTHPOINT (Cantonment Road, S089763) – Basement 1, car park.  Ablution place available and toilet at basement 2.

SPIZE @ BEDOK (Bedok Road, S469512) – Level 2.  Prayer room is for their staff but customers may ask permission to use it.

*SPRING SINGAPORE (Bukit Merah Central, S159835) – Level 10, Tower Block room number 1011 (Syndicate Room) for male.  For ablution, go to the toilet nearby.  Level 6, Tower Block room number 0606 (Syndicate Room) for female.  Open during prayers time.  If lock, ask the Muslim staff at level 3 (Training Facilities Office) for the key.

*SWISSOTEL THE STAMFORD (Stamford Road, S178882) -  Level 2.  Enter main lobby and proceed to the right side escalator and go up to level 2 and turn to the right. There is 2 small male and female musholla which is separated.  For ablution, go to the toilet nearby.

*TAKASHIMAYA SHOPPING CENTRE (Orchard Road, S238873) - Basement 1.  Proceed towards the public toilet and staff reporting entrance and go straight to the washing bay after the toilet.  There is a small room that stated “Store” for prayer.  Ablution place outside the room.  Telekong and slippers available.

*TAMPINES MALL (Tampines Central 5, S529510) – Level 3, near lift lobby A.  There are separate room for male and female.

TECHLINK (Kaki Bukit Road 3, S417818) – Lobby A, level 3.  On the right side of the entrance of Federal Express Office.  Ablution area at cleaner’s room, on the right of passageway leading to the toilet.  Room shared by male and female.  Telekong available.

TEMASEK TOWER (Shenton Way, S068811) - Basement 2 at red zone. 

*THOMSON MEDICAL CENTRE (Thomson Road, S307677) - Level 6.  Exit lift, turn right and proceed to the end.  Enter an Exit door that stated “Lift & Toilet”.  Proceed straight and turn left and there is a small room for prayer stated “Prayer Room”.  Male and female cubicle provided and slipper and  telekong available.  Ablution place at handicap toilet nearby.

*TUNG CENTRE (Collyer Quay, S049319) – Basement 2, car park.  Ask security staff to assist.  Take lift 5 or 6 at main lobby.  Exit lift, turn right and exit at right door.  Turn left at carpark and proceed to extreme end.  For ablution, toilet at lift lobby, telekong and slippers available.

UNITED SQUARE (Thomson Road, S307591) – Level 5A, car park next to ramp to level 6.  For ablution, toilet at levels 5A car park.

*UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE (Artillery Avenue, Sentosa, S099958) -  Located just beside Battlestar Galactica.  There is a small room for prayer stated “Prayer Room” with ablution facility provided.

*UOB PLAZA 1 AND 2 (Raffles Place, S048624) - Nearest mosque is Masjid Moulana Mohammad Ali (Raffles Place, S048624), about 5 minutes walk.

*WISMA ATRIA SHOPPING CENTRE (Orchard Road, S238877) – Level 7, staircase area.  Use cargo lift (Service Lift 9) near to Isetan and public toilet to level 7 carpark.  Out from lift, turn left and proceed straight to the end of carpark.  Take the pathway on the right and it will lead to a “Fire Exit/Staircase 2” door.  Enter door and will see the staircase area converted to musholla.  Sejadah and telekong available.  There is a small white ceramic basin with tap outside the door for ablution.
